My Grandmother was Helen (Helleena) Biron from Sault Ste Marie, Ont. Canada, see the photo to the right. Her parents were Sam Biron and Margarite Boissoneault. She was born January 7, 1894. Her family extended to the south of the river in the USA.

She was of Indian decent (according to her). She had a sister who was a Nun, Sister Geraldine. She married an Italian, Ralph Ciponi in ThunderBay, Ontario. She died in Sault Ste Marie on January 14, 1987. I do know she lived in Nashwuak, Minnesota with my grandfather and her 2 sons, in 1919 or there abouts.

Anyone knowing of this family or having information about this family please email, it would be greatly appreciated, as I don't know much more than is on this webpage. I am looking for any documentation you may have or can point me towards.
