family starting from the 10th generation.
1st generation
:
Jean Boissonneau, b. possibly in St-Seurin d'Uzet (Charentes-Maritimes)
France, in the former province of Saintonge. Married to Jeanne Cochin.
Jean d. before 1669.
2nd generation:
Vincent-Nicolas Boissonneau, b. around 1637, m. 18 oct 1669 in Ste-Famille
de l'Ile d'Orléans QC, Anne Colin, b. around 1645 in Sens Champagne
France (daughter of Nicolas Colin and Isabelle Calendre). Anne d. 29 jul
1719 and Vincent d. 13 sep 1715, both in St-Jean de l'Ile d'Orléans
QC. They had 12 children.
3rd generation:
Jean Boissonneau, b. 21 jun 1679 in St-Jean de l'Ile d'Orléans
QC, m. 16 nov 1707 in Ste-Famille de l'Ile d'Orléans, Marguerite-Catherine
Choret, b. 31 jan 1689 in St-Pierre de l'Ile d'Orléans QC (daughter
of Jean Choret and Claire Baucher). Marguerite d. 1743 in St-Jean de l'Ile
d'Orléans and Jean d. around 1731.
4th generation
:
Joseph Boissonneau, b. 03 apr 1722 in St-Jean de l'Ile d'Orléans
QC, m. 22 nov 1747 Marguerite Blais (daughter of Jean-Baptiste Blais and
Marguerite Roy) in Berthier-sur-Mer QC. They had 14 children.
5th generation:
Nicolas Boissonneau, b. 1759 in St-François-de-la-Rivière-du-Sud
QC, m. 09 jan 1789 in St-Vallier QC, Marie McNeil (daughter of Ignace
McNeil and Catherine MacLean). Nicolas d. 17 nov 1826 and Marie d. 1840.
They had 11 children.
6th generation:
Nicolas Boissonneau, ancestor to all the Boissonneau (ault/eault)s of
the Gaspé peninsula, settled in New-Richmond QC, b. 21 aug 1793,
m. 09 sep 1817 in Québec QC, Notre-Dame church, Madeleine Mathurin
(daughter of Jean-Baptiste Mathurin and Elisabeth Dupont). Nicolas d.
06 jun 1862. They had 9 children.
7th generation:
Narcisse-Barthélémy Boissonneau (ault/eault), b. 14 jun
1829 in Québec QC, m. 02 feb 1855 in New-Richmond QC, Julie Cyr,
b. in Cascapédia QC (daughter of Joseph Cyr and Séraphine
Leblanc). They had 8 children.
